A Constitutional Guide to the Political Groups in the European Parliament

► Related video: www.youtube.com This is a guide to the satirical leaflet welcoming Czech President Vaclav Klaus on his visit to the European Parliament on 19.02.2009, marking the Czech Presidency of the EU Council. The leaflet, claiming to be “A Constitutional Guide to the Political Groups” for the Czech President was produced by the Independence/Democracy Group in the European Parliament and disseminated in Parliament just before President Klaus’ arrival. Notwithstanding the disresepect shown to President Klaus by many MEPs, the leaflet seems to have gone down well with most MEPs… with exceptions, of course, as can be seen in the video clip.
