After a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Jan Fischer in Brussels, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso issued a stern warning against Czech President Vaclav Klaus’ plans to block the Lisbon Treaty on the future of EU cooperation, describing his plan as “artificial”.
