US President Barack Obama on Tuesday welcomed representatives of the European Union to the Whitehouse in Washington for talks on climate change. The EU delegation included Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt of Sweden, which currently holds the EU’s rotating presidency, and EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana.
