European Parliament President Jerzy Buzek on Wednesday said he asked Nigel Farage to apologize for his comments to EU President Herman van Rompuy during last week’s mini session of the European Parliament in Brussels. Farage declined to do so, saying he would only offer his apology to bank clerks, and was given a fine of about 3000 euro.
