Barroso-II team sworn in at European Court of Justice in Luxembourg

The members of the College of the Barroso Commission (2010-2014) were officially sworn into office at the European Court of Justice on Monday.

Commission President Barroso and each of the Commissioners had to swear an oath undertaking, amongst other things, to be completely independent in the performance of their duties and to respect, both during and after their term of office, the obligations arising therefrom.
