Van Rompuy, at Warsaw University, outlines EU achievements

Keeping in mind that Poland will take on the rotating presidency of the European Union in the second half of this year, European Council President Herman van Rompuy on Monday delivered a speech at Warsaw University. Van Rompuy found himself defending EU democracy and explained what the EU has achieved in the seven years that Poland has been a member of the union. Pamiętając, że Polska przejmie rotacyjne przewodnictwo Unii Europejskiej w drugiej połowie tego roku, przewodniczącego Rady Europejskiej Herman van Rompuy w poniedziałek wygłosił przemówienie na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim. Van Rompuy znalazł się w obronie demokracji w UE i wyjaśnił, co osiągniętego przez UE w ciągu siedmiu lat, że Polska jest członkiem Unii.
