Hague called Gaddafi’s son to demand end to violence in Libya

Arriving at today’s meeting of EU Foreign Ministers in Brussels, UK Foreign Minister William Hague told journalists he has called Colonel Gaddafi’s son, Saif al-Islam al-Gaddafi, in Libya on Sunday to demand an end to the violence against protestors. Hague roundly criticised the regime’s current actions, and appealled for international observers to be permitted access to the country.
