Minutes Silence in European Parliament, as Japan dominates concerns

An extraordinary meeting of the Conference of Presidents, witnessed a minutes silence from observers, as the EU’s shows it’s solidarity with Japan following it’s tsunami disaster. The threat of a nuclear fall out from breached power plants continues to be the main concern for the EU . The EU have officially recieved requests from Japan to help them on a humanitarian level, with the supply of water and blankets a top priority.
