April 12th declared ‘International Day of the Human Space Mission’

The United Nations General Assembly has passed a resolution honoring ‘out of this world’ achievments. The day of April 12th 50 years ago, saw the first human mission to space, as Russia’s Yuri Gagarin stole a lead on cold war enemies, by putting the Soviet Union in the stratosphere first. April 12th will now be the day on which to celebrate Human achievements in space.
