Denmark’s Minister for Immigration, Refugees and Integration has blamed the EU media for dramatising the issue surrounding Denmark’s intention to step up border controls. The Minister has stated on arrival in Brussels this afternoon that the Danes intend simply to strenghten customs control, rather than passport and person controls. He is attending a Meeting of EU Interior ministers in Brussels
