The legal affairs committee of the European Parliament next week will discuss the parliament’s decision to revoke the immunity of Russian-born Lithuanian MEP Victor Uspaskich after it was revealed that a Soviet-style conspiracy against him by political opponents led the parliament to strip him of his legal immunity last year.
