The work involved improving cathode design.. however the research team expect even more gains will be possible by redesigning the anode too.
Seems to be the thing many were waiting for,. e-cars that can go much longer distances. e-cars around ATM might be able to use such batteries(?)., ie. such developments enhance current e-car market too.
