Rick Zedník is CEO of EurActiv.com, the leading online media for EU policy news & information. Previously, he spent six years at The Wall Street Journal Europe, where he directed pan-European marketing and sales. In 1995, Zedník co-founded The Slovak Spectator, a Bratislava-based weekly newspaper where he was editor and then publisher.
He started his career as a journalist, and has contributed to more than two dozen media, including WSJ.com, National Public Radio, and Fox News TV. A Slovak-American dual citizen, Zedník holds an MBA from Harvard, an MS from Columbia Journalism School and a BA in Political Science from Trinity College (Connecticut).
