Since October 2006, more than 12 million EUXTV videos have been watched on YouTube. More than 20,000 EUXTV videos are watched every day; some weeks average 35,000 views per day. The EUXTV collection of videos on European affairs generates several dozen comments per day on European topics. Since 2006, EUX.TV’s videos have generated tens of thousands of comments on European policy issues.
The EUXTV channel is a YouTube partner channel. This means, among others that the channel has additional functions, such as being able to upload videos longer than 15 minutes. EUX.TV shares advertising revenue with the owner of YouTube, Google, which placed advertisements via Adsense. EUX.TV decides for itself which clips serve advertisements. Not all our clips carry ads.

News Videos
Directly after upload, EUXTV’s news videos on YouTube are also distributed via http://news.google.com. Here they are presented along with print news stories from leading news sources such as the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Associated Press, Agence France Presse, and of course EurActiv.com.
Being available via news.google.com means that EUX.TV regularly is the first to present key news footage and comments when major news breaks at a European level.
Subtitles
When it comes to crossing language borders, online video offers new opportunities that traditional broadcast TV networks simply can’t match. It’s now possible to create a single video that’ssubtitled in as many languages as one wishes, including Arab, Russian and Chinese.
EUX.TV is well positioned to make available videos in many different languages because of its link with the EurActiv network.
Regular viewers of the EUXTV YouTube channel will already be familiar with the increasingly cross-lingual nature of the videos. If a Polish YouTube user finds a EUXTV video with Polish subtitles, these are played out automatically.
